Healthy Diet
A healthy diet is a balanced diet. It contains all the right nutrients in the right amount. We need to have carbohydrates, proteins, fat, minerals and vitamins in adequate quantities. The amounts these are needed in, would differ with the age group. For e.g. an adult’s requirement of fat or protein may differ from what a young person needs. But whatever the age group, health experts are advising us to simplify our food habits and eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid food like red meat and excessive fat.
